This also means that I've had a chance to get the CD from the biking company and upload some photos and videos. There's a photo of me near the top of the road and another of me as the weather got a bit worse. Below is a picture of us at probably the most famous spot on the road.

There's also a group photo as well as the obligatory jumping in the air photo.
Finally I've uploaded a couple of videos to YouTube. In both of these I'm the one in the orange helmet.
Hi Tim
ReplyDeleteCan't believe ur still alive after WMDR. Enjoyed the video clips. Bus journey sounds horrendous. Can't stand being cold. Know how you feel a bit though as fell asleep on top of spare bed last night after bad session in the local pub. When Jody found me I was perished and proceeded to fall off the bed.
All a bit dull here. Election election election. We're off to Cornwall on our hols. Exciting hey. In a caravan. Even better. Jody's dads just got a camper van so the worlds our oyster now!
Really enjoying your blog. Kind of miss the beard though. Must be a chick thing!! Hope to see it back soon. Though Jody says its not for him!
Ta Ta for now J & J xx
Nice jumper. Is it itchy?
ReplyDeleteThe WMDR looks safer than the mine you went down, but only just. That shot with you all on the edge of the cliff: did you worm your way out to the edge and back, or nonchalantly scroll over and plonk yourselves on the edge???
Just got back from Butlins Skegness. Nice place, though some people were letting themselves go a bit: lots of crazy fancy dress, lots of booze, wee bit of coke in the toilets in full view.
Chesney Hawkes on Friday (him and band were great) then an unexpected surprise with S Club 3 turning up on Saturday fresh from Minehead, pretty good. Bradley has still got it, from what we saw after the show...
Hope your trip to the lake goes OK - will you be continuing the dangerous pursuits with a spot of cave diving or something!?
Jane, I hope you and the family have a great time in Cornwall. Maybe you should write a caravanning blog! And don't worry, I expect the beard will be back before long.
ReplyDeleteJamie, the jumper probably would be itchy, but I tend to wear it over another jumper, so it doesn't come into contact with my skin.
ReplyDeleteAnd how do you think I approached a cliff edge with a 200m vertical drop below it? After sitting down I had to lean forward to try to get my head in the photo - a bit scary.
I'm glad you had a good time at Butlins, and sorry I couldn't be there. You make it sound a bit like this. I met someone who went there - she said it was so that she had something interesting to write on her blog.
I'm still at Lake Titicaca, on the Peru side now. I'm still trying to decide what my next life-threatening pursuit will be.
